Mercer Wellness Quarterly Package
Last month, I showed you a little bit of work that I did for Malawi Reformation Network. This month, I’m super excited to share an ongoing project I’ve been working on for Mercer University’s Department of Employee Wellness.
Rachel has been the Wellness Director for over 10 years and she is a wealth of knowledge. Beyond walking the walk, she is constantly reading current research and sharing it with her constituents. Over the past few years, she’s felt that her presentation was a little bit stale and that people weren’t taking her (and her message!) seriously, so she just wanted a little step up. I was thrilled to take her monthly missives and create a cohesive publication that she could email or hand out, depending on the audience. Not just because it was a new project, but because I personally benefitted from her work over the course of my tenure at Mercer and see the value in what she does for that community.
The Quarterly Package includes a multi-page calendar of events (“Living Well”) for the course of the three months that quarter covers and one “Wellness News You Can Use” per month.
One of the fun things about this project is that Rachel gave me permission to exercise a little bit of creativity through the selection of the calendar title and creation of event types, which allowed for a key so readers can skim and select events that are most meaningful to their goals. The end result is a cohesive brand for the Wellness periodicals that readers can read with confidence.
While I do mostly web design these days, print is definitely my first love, and I’m always grateful for the opportunity to create meaningful print materials for projects of every size. Give me a ring if you’re looking for a design for your next project. I’d love to take you out for coffee and hear what’s on your plate!
