Sciter + CSS
I’ve spent the last week researching sciter and a good solution to use for styling it. Granted, I’m probably overthinking it, but I’ve been in the market for a good framework for a while, and this is as good of an excuse as any. Mostly, I need one with NO JavaScript dependencies since sciter isn’t a fan of JS and has its own scripting language.
For now, I think I’ve settled on Tailwinds for now, but I’ve found some other truly fantastic ones that I want to earmark and perhaps do a simple project with:
Frankly, what sold me on Tailwinds was the author’s article on writing CSS. It’s nice to get a feel for the why behind a framework, and it just felt like an appropriate amount of thinking about it.

Ordered business cards (well, more like calling cards) this week and also participated in a community program called On the Table.
It’s been a fantastic few weeks (went to Scotland, had a great time, came back fat and happy) since I wrote last but I’m having a good time, I promise, just trying to get a few projects pushed in a better place. 🙂
Talk to you next week!
